Individual Placement and Support

What is Individual Placement and Support (IPS)?

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a well-defined approach, using a proven methodology, to help people with mental illness find and keep competitive employment. “Competitive employment” means work in the community that anyone can apply for and pays at least the minimum wage.

Our Mission

Here at Employability Cork we have two dedicated Employment Specialists that work hand in hand with the HSE Mental Health teams in Cork. Everyday we work to support the career aspirations of our clients and build enduring relationships with  local employers. We provide support to overcome recruitment and hiring challenges and champion the benefits of a diversified and inclusive workforce. Click on the video to learn more.
